We've received a report that number plates were stolen from two vehicles parked on Heol Maes y Gelynen, Morriston on the evening of 26/09/25.

If you have any information that could help, please report it to South Wales Police immediately.

Number Plate Crime Prevention Advice

Stolen plates are often used to commit other crimes. Take steps to protect your vehicle:

Use Anti-Theft Screws: Replace your standard screws with special anti-theft or "one-way" security screws. These are designed to be easy to put on but difficult to remove without a specific tool, deterring opportunistic thieves.

Park Securely: Whenever possible, park your vehicle in a secure garage or a well-lit, busy area where thieves are less likely to operate undetected.

Check Your Plates: Get into the habit of checking your plates regularly to ensure they haven't been swapped or stolen.
